I haven't bought a new folder for a while so after browsing around I landed on the ZT 0350. I was originally going to get the tiger stripe version but Amazon had an open box deal on the blackwash for $96 so that swayed me to that one instead. I read a lot of reviews that said it was big but the specs didn't really convince me until I opened the box. It definitely dwarfs my Benchmade 585 as you can see from the pictures. I've been using the Benchmade as my EDC for around two years and absolutely love it but I'm going to start throwing this ZT into the mix and put it through some utility tasks at work. Can't wait to put it through its paces!

Great deal on that knife! Congrats, man.

The ZT is a beast of a knife. I'm confident that it won't let you down. As long as you keep in mind that torsion bars eventually break, it should surpass all your expectations.

I hadn't heard about the torsion bars breaking but it's good to know. Maybe I didn't research it enough after all.

About the torsion bars breaking, go to this link (http://zt.kaiusaltd.com/contact) and in the contact for tell them that you just bought a ZT0350BW and that you are concerned about the torsion bars breaking and would like to have a spare torsion bar sent to you. Make sure to fill out all the info in the form including your address. Also make sure you select "Warranty Service/Parts". In a week or two, you'll receive a small package containing torsion bars and all the additional hardware to take care of your knife. Best thing is, if the torsion bar does break, and you take the whole knife apart, your warranty isn't void.

This comes from first hand experience, did the same thing with my ZT0300. Unless you live outside North Americe, then I can't make any promises.

The 0350 is a great knife, it was my first ZT. Ive put it through its paces and it has stood up against everything I've thrown at it. I havent broke a torsion bar yet either. Never been a concern either. ZT has great customer service standing behind it so no worries there

I de assisted mine. That took care of the torsion bars. It s a fine manual flipper after adjustment and opens well with the studs also. Easy to do . Look it up on you tube.

The 0350 is an excellent knife period. I also agree with the above as all of mine are de assisted. I tend to like bigger knives and this one carries perfect imo

After carrying it for a few days now, I love it. The size compared to my 585 took a day or so to get used to but whether I have jeans or dress pants on, I haven't noticed it much in my pocket since then. I went ahead and requested an extra set of torsion bars in the event of mine breaking but I may look into de assisting mine in the future.

The torsion bar broke on my 0770. I called zt and they said they'd send a replacement right out. A few days later I received 2 torsion bars in the mail. Gotta love ZT's customer service
