Just got my RC 6 last week, got my dad one for X Mas and after handling it, had to have one for myself. Anyway I couldn't get the darned fire going in my little stove in the living room. Wood is just to wet and I didn't have any kindling left. So i whip out my shiny new blade......hard to do at first, and set out to do a little batoning. All my wood has plenty of knots in it, so I knew it wouldn't be a real easy task. Anyway, grab a nice thick log and go right down the middle. I know It wasn't the smartest thing to do, but I wanted to see what she was made of. I get through it was ease, blast right through a good size knot. Blade still looked perfect. Then I make some nice small stuff with the two halves to get a fire goin. Walla, five minutes later the stove is reading 400 degrees. The RC 6 performed just as expected.
