This is an air rifle made by RWS in Germany. It is a carbine model for kids. I was 11-12 when I got it for Christmas from my grandpa. It sizzles a .177 pellet at 700FPS with one full cycling of the break barrel. Back in the mid 90's, it cost around $140-160. It still holds the same zero as it did when I was killing pests in the orchards years ago.

No. Just stayed with my grandparents. My grandpa died early this year and he kept this in his gun cabinet.

Guess I shoulda refreshed the page before I typed. Anyway RWS/diana does make a great airgun.
 
I can hit a small tomato at 50' regularly.
 
CM, cool little RWS you got there! Airguns are another one of my favorite toys, great for urban hunting. I used to set up animal crackers and go on a "safari" in the back yard. Now I can't wait for my son to be old enough to go on a safari with me.

I know that gun has a ton of sentimental value to you as it is, but if you ever wanted to hop it up, i am sure you can get a longer barrel for improved accuracy and added velocity.

Actually, this gun is still perfect for me. Last time I used a rifle for an extended amount of time it was an M4 carbine.
 
Man that is sweet! My Dad had a Benjamin Pump that reminds me of that.

I like air guns, but haven't got a springer or anything more extravagant than a 10-pump for plinking. I've got an all right back yard, but not that big and technically I'm still on city limits.
 
Sweet, I have a Crosman 2100... They're rated at 725 fps but I think it's more around 600. Helped my friend clear some ground squirrels off his property though.
