Just picked up my Tanker Grey and Black Canvas Ratmandu.

This is my first Swamprat knife, as well as my first knife from any of the Busse family companies.

I have got to say I am impressed! The Fit and finish are excellent and the handling characteristics are fantastic. This knife has a very comfortable grip in a variety of positions and provides a good strong grip (the biggest problem I find with production knives). While not as hand filling as the RC6 or RC5 from ESEE knives. It is more compact, more secure and very comfortable.

My only regret is that I didn't have the funds to order a couple more.

Thanks Eic and crew!!!

I would've ordered black paper except I'm not familiar with the grip characteristics of the black paper.

Either way I'm very pleased with this little blade overall. Many thanks to my friend Ivan51 for telling me about them.

Congrats, glad it arrived safely and that you like it. It is a workhorse so good have fun with it and be sure to post some pics when you have a chance

:D:D

Enjoy your RMD. I think the canvas Micarta is very appropriate for this workhorse of a knife. To bad you can't get one in Tan/Muddy any more!!

That Tan/Muddy is nice!

But my Tanker Grey/Black Canvas is practical a stealth knife.

I really like the quality of edge this steel takes.

mhawg, is that your RMD sheath? What mfr/model is that? Do you have any pictures with knife in its pants? Your new RMD Looks great!

Sorry- I"m looking for the make model of the sheath... trying to find some nice pants for my upcoming RMD.

I purchased it off of the exchange but it's been a while and I forget who made it.
