Hey guys! My Scrapper just came in the mail..:D

But I have 2 questions
1. Who makes a good sheath preferrably Kydex or the like. I was looking for Horizontal carry or Molle when out on business.
2. HOw do you sharpen your Scrapper?

I have a Lansky kit. Though not the diamond kind.

Did anyone decide to reshape their blades and if so how and how did it turn out?

Thanks

I was also going to suggest On/Scene Tactical as well. His sheaths are most excellent. I have one for my RD 6.

You can find the same problem in many new knives, where the very edge is a bit brittle. Give it a good sharpening to get the chips out and you'll have an edge of the less brittle steel to work with from then on.

yup, once you have ground away the original edge it is amazing how much longer the edge lasts and how much more damage it can take. Not sure why.

Dr. Bill can you show some pics of the damage. I find it amazing that you could damage S-7 that easily. The edge must have already been coldworked and just let loose. But 1/16 inch is considerable. Is the 1/16 lengthwise or deep? If it is lengthwise, how deep is the chip? or visa versa?
