My first Swamp Rat. It is the perfect size for EDC or Hiking trips.

Now I need a sheath. I saw where someone was working a kydex sheath, I prefer leather. Since I am new to this, Any suggestions as to quality leather sheath makers?

Kydex? David Brown (Buy Brown), Okuden, On Scene Tactical. Leather? ChuddyBear, Dwayne Puckett (Armoralleather,) and Kenny Rowe.

Professionals - great work - gotten something from them all.

(Also seen some nice stuff from Rainwalker in leather.)

Ya gotta be more careful with kydex sheath makers than you might think. I've gotten some great ones from semi-pros - I've also gotten some crap ones of cheap, thin kydex that sliced like a knife into resiprene-c grips. I fixed the "bad" one into a usable condition by cutting, sanding and reheating but not after it went all slicey into my grip. Then it became a matter of a "grip fix" by melting and reforming the res-c to repair the damage. All shiney now. ;)
 
Got my Rat Warden today, actually about an hour ago.

I got my Rat Warden too!!!! Fits perfectly in my Gossman PSK leather sheath. One sheath 2 knives, SWEET!!!!!!
 
I just received my swamp warden, that I bought in the blade forums sale threads.
I love this thing! It doesn't have a logo though??? It still works anyway :)

I picked up a couple Muddy and a couple OD Swamp Wardens which came in the mail yesterday. The OD got to go to work with me today.

I got my Rat Warden and Chopweiller yesterday.

I too need to find a sheath for the warden. Preferably a small, lightweight, kydex neck sheath.

Okuden has one of my Swamp/Rat Wardens and is making neck sheaths for them. He has the go ahead to use my knife to fill any other orders he gets for sheaths.
 
As soon as my Wardens get here I am sending one to Eric at On Scene so you can get one from him without having to send your knife as well.
Not only are Erics sheaths perfect the plastic he uses is way nicer than kydex.
I may also get a leather sheath with a pocket clip from Rainwalker.
 
Got my sage warden and I love it! Has anyone thought about adding handles and using the hollow part for survival storage?You could fit a small ferro rod , hooks, and other misc.

I've heard a few people mention adding inserts to give it a look along the lines of a Busse Bad Warden. I went the simple route and wrapped mine in paracord.
 
I tried the paracord wrapping but just couldnt grt it to my satisfaction. Maybe if you got some pics for an idea.
