BIG thumbs up. Very nice knife. A lil break in and this thing will be smooth as buttah. My only other ti-frame lock is an Umnumzaan, so not a great comparison. Like saying it's apples and pears, both yummy fruits, but different.

I will snap some pics later tonight.

Chad, big thumbs up. Hoping madly they will make a ti-trance.

How about a Wharncliff trance?

It looks like it. and it looks like the thumb studs are as well. If they arnt Ti, then they did a very good job of mimicking the Ti look.
 
This looks like a very nice piece for the money. I had a bunch of subcoms before but sold them because I didn't like the scales. How is the fit and finish on this one? Comparable to the non-ti version? What do you think of the knife overall? I'd appreciate your thoughts!
 
I haven't had a standard one (yet). but The fit and finish on this one are very good.

I can't tell if the scales are laser or water jet cut, I need to get the magnifier out and look close. But the cuts are well done.

The cosmetic / grip milling is pretty clean and the matte finish hides the mill marks very well.

Blades is VERY good, the lock face has some grind marks, and this is where my "break in" comment was from. The ti lock bar and face will need to wear in a bit, but the feel is pretty good.

I am happy with fit and finish, makes me wonder if I should make a ti scale for my trance, or at least make my own new G10 scale for it.

Now with being happy, I will mod it, I will take the edges to a powered "scotchbrite" wheel to take some of the tooth off of the edges. They are not sharp, but I tend to like a "softer" feel on the edges of my handles.

I will keep updating with random thoughts and observations. This wont "replace" any of my edc blades, but will make a great companion to them all, and will be a great carry piece when I dont want one of the larger or scarier blades, its rather boxcutter looking.

found them today at EDC Depot, have one in a few days

I like the regular ones, the Ti one looks pretty nice too.

I would like to see a Ti Subclaw too. :)
