And hot dang am I happy with it. I've handled blurs but didn't feel the need to add one to my collection until I saw this one. And I like how it looks even better now that it got here then when I was looking at it online! This stonewashed blade looks great and the silver twill g10 is absolutely gorgeous. It looks better than any carbon fiber I've ever seen. The only material I have that looks better than it is the nishijin glass fiber on my dragonfly 2.

Still not sure if I'm going to take out the torsion bar or not. Does anybody else have one of these? Why doesn't Kershaw use that silver twill g 10 more often?

Very nice! Is that blue in the picture close to reality? That is a beautiful knife.

I picked up one of these too. It's an awesome looking piece. I think the only other Blur with the silver twill was the 30th anniversary piece (model 1670ANN).

Damn, that's a beautiful piece. Wish I could afford it, but I'll just enjoy it through you guys.

Congrats man, it's a great knife! This is my favorite so far, I am not a Blur collector but I own five of them and this is my favorite.

They used silver twill on the SG10 as well.

Lock up feels solid. I took out the torsion bar as well and now is smooth and detent is good. No blade play. Here's the visual of lockup.

Looks good, I was asking because many of the Elmax Blurs had pretty poor lockup from what I saw. Good choice on deassisting, I did that to both of mine as well (S30V and Sandvik DLC combo edge, my first "real" knife), part of me wishes they would add a flipper and sell it deassisted.
