bought this the other day,Unfortunately I had to sell the pauls hatchet I just got. I like this better so it's all good.Wish I could keep em all

I darkened the scales with some mink oil

I really like the penetrating tip and the serrated spine and the skull crushing pommel.I wish it had some thumb Jimping.


added some para-cord just for fun

It came with a Tight fitting kydex,But it scratches the blade.lucky for me Mr Hawkins also sent me a spec ops sheath with it.It holds the knife very securely .

Don't really like the sage sterile coating so one day I will send it in to get Satined.I hope I can bring myself to use it when it comes back.
It came very dull but with a ceramic stick it is very sharp now.
DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS KNIFE SO ANYONE WITH ANY HISTORY AND SPECS PLEASE FEEL FREE TO POST.
 
I believe the design of the back serrations was to cut the plexiglass of a helicopter windscreen; hence "Nuclear Air Rescue Knife"
