It was just hole in my collection that I knew at some point I would like to fill. Lent the original knife to someone who went out on a jog/walk one night. A few days later when I asked about the original it turned out she had a hole in a sewn on front patch pocket and the knife was MIA.

No point in looking as several days had passed.

Finally found one that pushed the replacement button. Very happy I waited so long.

Love the scale and color.

I gifted a Tenacious to a buddy but was left unimpressed with the fit and finish. That was a few years ago, so how is the fit and finish now compared to your previous model?

The fit and finish on my wife's is flawless for $35 . The lock up could use tweaking down the line I'm sure. But smooth, great detent. Perfect grind and edge. Scales match the liner's better than any Emerson I've seen ;)

Interesting. Might jump back into the water in this. Worse case, a good beater yard work knife.

Very nice... might have to look into one of those. The steel is close to AUS-8, not bad stuff at all.

This copy is spot on. Certainly better than my old one. Although considering the source, BWL, they go over them with a fine tooth comb. A bit more expensive than a stock model, but I think it is well worth the price.
