Just got word my BM14205 is inbound!

NewGraham just emailed me that my new BM 14205 is on the way to me. I have been wanting this knife since first seeing a salesmans sample a while back.

I'll be looking that one over very well and if its like the last one I had in my hands and they didn't make changes I'm sure it will be Waved and riding on my right side very soon. I loved everything about the 14200 but hated the handle scales which was why I changed them out to where it ended up looking a lot like this new 205 does. Hmmm, I wonder?? Nah, I guess its just a natural evolution. I did post those out on the BM forum though.

I'll post pics of this one and my 14200 I changed when it gets here which won't be soon enough!

nice looking knife. Plain jane, but, that's the beauty of it. Not menacing at all.

I'll be interested in your opinions on this knife. I've got it on my want list but I was waiting for Benchmade to have a chance to address the issue of the closed blade bumping against one of the liner spacers and getting a flat spot.

I EDC a 14210 now and like it enough to have a couple of NIB spares for when they DC the model sometime in future. I really like the combination of AXIS lock and open construction for easy rinsing/cleaning. And I can say from experience that the 14210 is tough enough to survive a drop onto a concrete patio with no damage. There is a tiny, almost invisible, dent in the G10 scale where she landed, but nothing else. No cracks, no chips, no broken or dislocated omega springs.
