I get my middle name from a tough Resourceful mountain woman, my Aunt Thelma Today at 6:30 am she joined her husband and the rest of our family that has gone before on the other side of the clouds . After 89 years on this earth.
Thanks for letting me vent

Condolences to you and your family.

The close of a long life well lived and one that clearly had great meaning to you ... so sorry

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and may perpetual light shine upon her. I lost my favorite aunt in January (89 years old). I understand what you're going through.

I'm sorry for your loss. It is always tough to lose someone whom is close. In an interesting note though my full name is all Family last names...so Technically I have no first or Middle name just three last names.

I am beat we just got back , We Celebrated a life live well we laughed we prayed we told stories , We cried a little but mostly we rejoiced we were blessed to have her as family We are grateful she is past the pain and with Uncle Basil once more

Condolences to your family, it’s always tough to lose a loved at any age.

Thanks for the kind words, I am really tired. Friday was long 390 miles to and from the funeral plus 4 hours there funeral, dinner, hugs Prayers, stories over all it was a celebration of a life well lived . On the way home the indicators on my brakes started squeaking so Sat I put brake pads on my car . some where in the mix I picked up a cold/ sore throat.
I was given a little nick nack from Aunt Thelma's stuff . Mom gave me my late Uncles Craftsman/shrade stockman pocket knife which I carried to church today . Sis brought me 3 ripe paw paws I ate them and put seeds in a Ziploc with damp peat moss and refrigerated to next spring to try to grow myself some . We are planning an October trip so kids and grand kids can meet family.
It was a rough day for my Mom Hopefully I was able to help her through it
