I got my first Becker when the new production line came out. I got the BK2 and reviewed it for woodsmonkey. Love that blade. I recently got the BK9, and have been very happy with it. Because of the BK9's performance, I had to pull the trigger on a new BK7. Not sure how she will fit into the family, but I'm sure she will. I'll post some pics when she arrives. Thanks Ethan, Ka-bar, and Tom from Chestnut Ridge. :D

The BK7 arrived, thanks Tom for the fast service, and looks awesome. I got out and played a bit. I'll get some of the pics up soon. She performed flawlessly. :D

when i order knives, i usually click the mouse, or at worst punch the phone... pulling the trigger, that's a good trick :)

The pictures made it look as if the acid from the pineapple ate the coating off the blade. Did it?

No effect from the pineapple. I think it was the glare. The coating that came off the shoulder of the primary grind was from my belt sander, when convexing the edge. I put the convex right on the primary grind. It's wicked. No chipping or rolling at all from the battoning. It's holding up really well and this 1095 crovan takes a wicked edge. :D I weighed it against my buddies Rogue, and it is 1.3 ounces heavier. The blades are the same length, but the BK7 is far more comfortable. He wants to get one now. :D
