Just how skeletonize are the liners in the blurple Manix 2?

I've had the Manix 2 (Black G10, uncoated S30V PE) on order with my LGS for a couple weeks now and it seems they're having a tough time getting it from their distributor. I think the has something to do with defective knives not turning into pink boats or something... I dunno. Didn't catch it all.;)

Anyway, I'm thinking of switching the order to the blurple G10 S110v version because I am the master of scope creep, but I notice that it has skeletonized liners. I was just wondering if anyone knows to what degree they are skeletonized. I mean, are they narrower? holes drilled out? For those who have the blurple version, does it still have the hefty, rock solid tank kind feel of the regular full liner version? Or does the skeletonization (is that even a word?) allow the scales to flex the way the unlined lightweight BD1 versions do?

As always, pics are great.

I've had both the LW and now Burple S110V Manix 2's. The Burple is a bomber knife. Had no issues with the LW handles, but the skeletonized liners certainly make the Manix feel like a stronger folder when in hand. My LW was 81g and the skeletonized is 118g.

Just to make sure everyone's clear on my question, I'm referring here to the blue/purple G10 Manix 2 S110V, not the PM2.

That said, exracr- I would totally dig a PM2 as well. Enjoy!

I love my blurple manix. It is heavily skeletonized, but I have felt no flex. I much prefer it to the regular manix or the xl. For me at least, it just feels like an extension of the hand. It's the perfect weight.

I don't have the S110V Manix, but my Cruwear Manix is very skeletonized, large sections of liner are cut out. And it feels just as rugged and solid in hand as the standard HG Manix I used to have, just lighter. You have nothing to worry about IMO.

Yup! No worries. It is a rock solid knife. I have a Cruwear Manix2 also and it is skeletonized the same as the Blurple. No flex and the weight savings is much appreciated.

I have not noticed any difference in strength between the skeletonized and full liners. Only weight reduction. It doesnt feel as hefty to me, but extra weight can often give the impression of added toughness. Its solid. Have no fear.

As stated above, it is heavily skeletonized but is rock solid. I like the LW's but the G10 models just feel bullet proof. No flex but a little lighter. It's hard to find any issues with this one.

Damnit. Well, I swapped the order, so now it'll be the S110v with G10.
Amazing how all I need is some info and time and I can upsell myself on it!

Ben you are going to love this knife bro!!
I have 4 Manix's......2 trans blue LWs, G10 s30v and the best of the bunch BY FAR my blurple beauty!!!!!
The build on it is literally perfect! Action is amazing! The edge on mine, and on others I've spoken with, is absolutely amazing!! Perfectly even and pissed off demon sharp! This is the ONLY knife I didn't even need to strip! It push cuts phone book paper the length of the page without catching!! It is just a fantastic knife!
Killing on the liners is very aggressive, but the knife is super solid!!
Tried to get you a pic of the liners.......yes, I am carrying it today.....as usual!!!
Hope these help! Both liners are milled like the one shown.

Dude, that pic is totally helpful. Thank you so much.

I really can't wait for the Blurp to show up. I have a couple Delicas now, but this is my first foray into serious, hardcore Spydie territory. Based on the knives of theirs that I have seen, I figure this knife will exceed even my very high expectations.
