First, I was totally excited to get this CF Demko AD-10 in yesterday. Does anyone know why Andrew only sign some AD-10s? Where these only available at Blade shows?

god , that knife is freaking awesome. i would be interested in hearing the reason behind the signatures. my guess would be that is was a show piece, great score brother, they re hard enough to get as it is without the signature. looks great in hand , thanks for the pics and hope someone has an answer , hell taking your luck into consideration , eric may even come over himself to tell you :D good looking knife.

I think that is an older AD-10, it has the older style pivot markings, and I think the screws may have changed on the newer ones also. On some of his older work I have seen this signature...

That is in fact the older AD-10 it has a 3.7" cutting edge. I later refined it to a 3.5" cutting edge which is now the standard AD-10. The new model is less than 10 percent smaller overall and the clue to tell them apart is in the area between the pinky and ring finger of the handle, the older has a smoother transition in that area. The reason for the sighned blade is simply that the buyer asked for it.
