NICE!
Probably buffing compound...
I just got my 112 Heritage back and saw the same sharpie note on the inside of the box :D

I'm glad you like how they turned out. That white substance is really odd. We use a green compound for buffing. My rework guy buffs them, sharpens them, and places them in the foam pouch. I cant even think of a good guess as to what that stuff is. I'm glad it wipes off!

Yes the Crew at Buck did a great Job I will wipe them clean and set up for some better photo's after the New Year, this was a first for me little nervous with the oldies but sent straight to Joe and he took care of the rest Thanks Joe Have alot more to send so I will share with everyone when they return Safe and Happy Holiday's to All

maybe the green compound turns white when it dries, or it could be bits of foam rubbed off the baggies during transit. It could be anything.

Great looking knives,Joe is the man thats for sure, their crew takkes great pride in what they do,I've sent many knives to Joe for the spa treatment and have been more than happy with every one of them when they came back.Merry Christmas everyone!
