Just indroducing myself

Hello all new to the forum so I thought I whould indroduce myself. My name is Joe Smith and I am from Saginaw MI. I am not really much into colleting knifes just making them. Which bings me to my first question. I notice that most of the discussions on the forum are more to the colleting of knifes. If anyone could point me into the direction of some knife making information sources that would be awsome. Thanks for any help.

Greetings and welcome to the forums. There is a knife making section in the forums, and there are plenty of very talented knife makers all over the forums. You've come to the right spot. Enjoy your stay.
 
Welcome to Bladeforums!!! Browse around the forums for a bit and you will find every little piece of info you desire on anything knife related. From using, collecting, and knifemaking BFC has it all. Or you can follow neosporins "quick link". :D
 
I already have. learning alot as is still trying to get my shop set up with some basics. but already doing alot of designs. will get there eventually.
 
Welcome to the party Joe. You might want to switch from the General Forum to the Maker Forum. There are gobs of info on the internet and you can even purchase semi-completed kits to get the feel for knife assembly. Several major custom makers and associations also offer classes.

Again, welcome and send us some pics of your creations.
