Just installed some newly released Allen Putman scales.

I ordered a Spyerco Military from BladeHQ and a set of Blaze Orange Allen Putman for it as well but what I did not know was that Spyderco did an unpate on the Military and changed the stop pin from 2 screws and a spacer to just a pin with turned down ends and they also made the lanyard hole bigger.

I decided to contact Allen Putman not knowing that they had made this change and he told me about it and I asked him if he was making scales for the new version and he said not yet so I offered to send him my knife and I did and in return I got back a the very first set's of Blaze Orange and Toxic Green for the updated version of the Spyderco Militar,all I can say is I have always been a big fan of Allen's scales and these ones are great just like the all the others I have purchased in the past.

Those look great! Allen does good work. I'm hoping he re-releases his anodized aluminum honeycomb scales for the PM2 soon. And hopefully the Para 3 is a candidate for them too!
 
I know Allen told me that he is running wiring for his new Haas Super Mini Mill and compressor and he'll be down for a week,he said something about his sale's Rep from Haas getting on him to get the wiring done so they can install his new Mill if I remember correctly.

I have always liked pretty much anything Allen does from a design and quality standpoint.

That is pretty nice looking I like more bold colors myself such as the blaze orange or toxic green but those do look really nice as well.
 
Those look great, I'd love to find a user DLC coated black blade PM2 and put a set of Allens orange scales on it.
