Here are a couple pics of a Desert "ZT-esque" SJ that surfaced at Knob Creek a couple years ago (there were actually two, and the other evidently cannot be pried from the hands of the new owner...I've tried several times a year...) and the original ZTSJ Proto handground by Boss Hog to be taken to Bade 2002.

The Desert one does not have a zero edge grind...:grumpy: but the rest of the blade config is ZT.

You can see the transition grind about 1.5" back from the tip on the proto.

Funny thing (ironic funny) is that the new owner of the other Desert version only knew of Busse from me setting up at Indy, and that one was his first.

He just happened on the table at Knob Creek.

His son had bought a PD off me earlier that year.

I'll keep workin on him though...
