Hello to all - Just joined Blade forum. Been a knife fan for many years. Can't say I have a big collection - I buy some, I use some, I lose some, some people take some, but I keep on buying here and there. Came across this forum while looking for deals. My first question to start off my membership:
Where do Forum members usually get their knives? What sites have the best prices? I am basically into folding/lockblade knives of Modern era. (ie I love the new Assisted Kershaw line).

Any and all comments welcome! :)

First, welcome to Bladeforums! You sound like the type that will fit in nicely here. Because he called me a special and unique snowflake, and the fact that he makes it all possible, first nod goes to 1sks.com, or the one stop knife shop, run by the owner of this forum, Spark, so you support this site by buying from him (hint hint). Other good choices are A.G. Russell, grand prairie knives, and Smoky Mountain Knife Works. Many others, but these are the ones you usually see.

This thread might be better posted/you might be better served by looking in the Exchange forum, and going to the subforum titled "the good, the bad, and the ugly"- the entire purpose is to deal with questions like this. Anyway, welcome to Bladeforums :thumbup:.

Oh yeah, your wallet doesn't stand a ghost of a chance of staying fat while you are active here :D.

Welcome man! this is a great site with many great people, you'll enjoy it!

Definitely don't for get about the "For Sale" forums here on BF I've only been a member for a short while and already bought several knives at great prices!

Check out the Kershaw Forums. Unless you're afraid of addiction, because Kershaw Knives are like Lay's Potato Chips; you can't stop at just one. :D

Wilkomen - I Am a newby to knives and to Bladeforums.com.. but welcome none the less. Someone on this Forum told me once..."You will now become "Knife-Poor" , oh so true.

Set time limits here, or else this site will consume your time, the grass will be knee high, the firewood uncut, and the woman mad as hell about nothing getting done.

Welcome aboard Wavester :thumbup:. I'm still fairly new myself and as others have mentioned you will lose time here. I've been doing a WHOLE LOT of reading here and just learning all kinds of info here. A great place with a great bunch of people.

Welcome to Blade Forums, but you will need at least a Gold membership to sell. Anyone can buy, but to post in the for sale threads, you need to be Gold or Platinum.
