My first 110! I have an old 80 something Bucklite 422 that someone gave me years ago, so this isn't my first Buck. And I don't think it will be my last. I have a lot of modern flippers, spydercos, etc but I wanted to experience the classic locking knife.

Already thinking about another one... Maybe try out a 110lt...

nice looking ebony too. good grab and welcome to 110 ownership.

I got lucky... It was the last one! But I did like the look of the ebony, and it locks up good and tight. A little wiggle when closed but from what I read that's pretty normal, but if it bothered me Buck would take care of it. Doesn't bother me, I don't think it affects much.

And it's supposed to be 7.2 oz... It just doesn't feel that heavy. Although I do have a few heftier folders I carry, so maybe I'm just used to it.

Could be just holding it, clutching it, cutting with it i mean the list is endless.

Yes i acquired an old ••110•• with finger grooves. Retired my non finger grooved 110’s. I love the FG’s

20200101_203618.jpg I have a 110 too! I have been using a trio of 112 Slims and Slim Pro's for over 6 months and when I first picked this one up it felt huge. But there's a reason why the 110 is a classic..It simply works well. Buck has refined everything about it since it's introduction in 1964. Think about it blade steels, edge geometry, handle material and even heat treatment Buck has improved the 110 all around for over 50 years.

But still keeping the wood and brass original looking the same. I do like the 110/112 LT models as work knives. So light and at $20 if it breaks under abusive use it won’t break your heart.

Improved, but the overall knife design hasn't changed much. I think they got it right from the start. It is very a very comfy handle. I am missing the pocket clip, but without it there's no chance of a hot spot.

Going to see if I can check out an lt tomorrow after work. We shall see!

Very true. Im going to use all my knives... Good thing is the more I have the less wear overall. Spread it out over multiple knives, and they last longer!

That looks identical to the one that's been on my belt 24/7 since 12/01/019 :)

Looks great! Welcome to 110 ownership :)

The 'Racer' 110 was a web special with a very unique handle and shieth..I'm shocked just how few have shown up on Ebay at any price! I believe it was under $30.00 and the run was around 800 plus but I have only seen two,2 offered for sale lol! I hope Buck will make more with unique textured designs for both the 110 and the 112..it's a natural for advertising and special projects. 20200106_162612.jpg 20200106_163541.jpg

Great looking piece. I really like those scales.

Been meaning to get a custom shop 110, this might have just pushed me over the edge. Any new 110 is a good 110. :D

Can't beat that or the 110LT.
next I say grab a little 55 to match when the new ones in ebony come out.

I carried it all day. Unfortunately didn't have a chance to use it, but I did admire it! I've actually been messing around with the customizer and one of these days I'll get a nickle silver/blue wood/black 420hc blade, and finger grooves. I like S30v, but it's not available in black, and I'm not a steel snob anyway!

I think that would be a handsome knife!

A mini 110...thats interesting! I'll have to think about it, since I think my 422 is bordering on too small. But having a mini 110 would be very handy... Decisions decisions!
