Just ordered the ivory micarta Woodsman from KSF! :D I've got a thing for the ivory micarta. After months of searching for "my" knife, there it was!

I am really looking forward to picking up the package. Everything I have seen and read seems to indicate that it was a wise purchase. Plus it's from GA, my home state!

So yeah, I'm not new but I mostly (always) lurk so this is the first post. so yeah...hi.

That's it. Just saying hi. Gotta start somewhere.
 
Great to meet you! I'm glad you decided to post while you wait. Thats a sweet knife. Please post us some pics!
 
Of course I will post pics, not a problem! I plan on writing up a review to go with them. Maybe do the youtube thing if I can get a video camera.

The best part of finding this knife is I had all of the specifications written down, including the ivory Micarta, had to have the ivory Micarta. Couldn't find a knife. I was prepared to spend my lunch break on Monday calling custom makers to get what I wanted!

Then I had a few beers and somehow ended up at the KSF listing for Fiddleback.


And there it was.

You may want to check out the Youtube Video Contest. You may be able to win a really tricked out Woodsman that way!! I'm going to make a really special knife as the prize for that contest!
 
I can't believe that one lasted as long as it did. I wanted it immediately, but no money.
