I'm very excited to say I'm now a member of the CRK Family! My Small Sebenza 21 came today, and it is AMAZING! I never thought I could love a knife this much! I never thought I would own a Sebenza. As a full time student, it was a big expense, but it was well worth it.

I guess I just thought I would say "Hello!" This is my first thread on BladeForums, and thought I would introduce myself. Glad to be a member of such and amazing community!

This is just the beginning...it all starts with one...pretty soon you'll swear they're reproducing in your safe/drawer...Lg Sebenza...Umnumzaan...Professional Soldier...Green Beret...another Sebenza...white CRK boxes galore...good luck...and Welcome :D

It's true ^

I've been a Sebenza owner for less than a month and already have another coming some time in the future (to distant says the lack of patience on my shoulder).

Congratulations and enjoy!

By the way, if you ever have to send it in for any reason and find yourself staring longingly at its empty white box, don't feel too weird about it...I don't anyway:)

Welcome to the family and congratulations on your first Sebenza.
The Small Sebenza is a great all around knife and is my own personal favorite. It will be a fine companion and serve you well.
Glad to have you aboard.

congrads! just be careful not to let those student loans go to more sebenzas, although it will probably happen :p

Congratulations and welcome to the fold, it will serve you well for many years, pictures please.

Congrats. It's a good thing I wasn't into knives when I was a student...it would have been all over. lol

i did it! i just ordered my first crk. i figure what the hell....might as well carry the best. cant believe i just spent $400 on a small knife :D

definitely cant tell the wife unit about this one.

oh well. at least i will know that in my pocket, there is a quality cutting instrument.

i ordered a carbon fiber small 21....i figure the carbon fiber will wear nicer than the titanium.

Thanks for all the Welcomes! I really appreciate it! It will definitely be a user. I'll get a pic up as soon as I get them on my computer. I can't believe I love this knife so much! It is perfect, and buttery smooth!

My first came yesterday, large sebenza. I'm already comtemplating a second...perhaps an Umnumzann...

just got my first in the mail.
initial impressions......nice.

sharp blade and great attention to detail.

a little tougher to open than I expected but I'm fine with that.
packaging was great and carbon fiber side feels the same as the titanium side.

overall I am pleased......wish it only cost $50 instead of $400 but that won't happen

Welcome! Agreed, pics please, not that we don't know what they look like already ;)

Welcome to the club! I've owned and used Sebenzas since 2003. I have "narrowed" down my collection to four Sebenzas, one Mnandi, and a 'Zaan. All of them users and all of them have scratches. That is what makes them beautiful!

Funny, I'm looking to expand to 10 Sebenzas, Mnandi, Umnumzaan, and a ti lock.

- large 21 plain Jane - check
- small 21 plain Jane - check
- large 21 micarta - check
- small 21 micarta -
- large Insingo - check (thanks again, nyfemaker for letting me use your NCIS engraving)
- small Insingo - check
- large Insingo micarta -
- small Insingo micarta -
- small regular - check (2011 annual)
- large regular - (hoping the 2012 annual will still be a regular and hoping that if so, I can pick one up)

There left to go, I'm going to place an order for one of the Insingo micartas next month, but I'm still deciding if I should go with the small or the large first. After that, though, I'm going to have to start saving my pennies for an annual this fall.
