Howdy folks-
Thanks to the awesome generosity of both K_Estela and jwilliams, I'm now the owner of a RC3! Got it in the mail this afternoon.
My initial impressions are quite positive. The fit and finish are very impressive for a production blade, as is the evident amount of thought that went into this sheath system. It's versatility shows how much respect Rat Cutlery has for the diversity of its customers.
The edge came shaving-sharp (rare for a production blade, as many here know) which is much appreciated. It's the serrated model, however.
The handle is pretty thin but due to it's width is still surprisingly comfortable.
Overall,  !!
But two quick questions:
- Is the edge on the RC4 as sharp as that of the RC3? Or put another way, have owners of both found that the added thickness on the RC4 detracts from the sharpness/cutting ability?
-Are there any differences in handle thickness between the RC3 and RC4?
Thanks much for any info amigos-
