Now, I am used to hollers, hills and cornfields, but I just got into the swamp! I have an HRLM and an RMD on the way and I just cant wait to get these knives dirty! I am thinking that the HRLM will gut a few deer this fall, and the RMD will... um I dunno, just cut stuff, or maybe I will gut somethin with that too. I am just excited! These are my first Bussekin knives and I can't wait to try em out!

The HRLM is a no brainer when it comes to skinning. The RMD is much better at it than one might think! I was pleasently surprised to discover this. You have 2 great knives coming and won't be disappointed.
 
Nice score, man! Be sure to post up some pics when they show up.

Just got my RMD yesterday and it's totally badass.
 
I absolutely will. I am really excited about these two. I am about ready to start selling folders to get more.
 
Nice score! I love the RMD, but have yet to get my mitts on the HRLM. Will have to keep my eyes open for one of those!!

The HRLM is getting harder to find, might want to find a proxy for Blade show, while I can't say if any will be there, a couple showed up at Knob Creek a couple of months ago so the shop still has a few that they are sending to shows.

They are here, I sharpened them all up, just waiting on pants for em now... They will be in the woods next weekend!

Great knives, my first two rats as well. The ratmandu did a fantastic job cleaning my deer last year! The HRLM is my permanent truck knife.
 
I thought the HRLM would make a good skinner! Actually, now I don't know which one I would use...
 
The sheaths are the pancake style from Azwelke. I got the ESEE 5 molle back and they fit on them perfectly. The HRLM has half the molle back on it and I put it onto my Junglas sheath with the Molle panel. I think I am gonna do something similar with the M9, don't know if I am going to piggy back something on it yet or not. I am thinking of getting the molle back for the ESEE 4 (a little cheaper and smaller) and using that instead for the other RMD, or, cannibalizing the one on the HRLM. Not sure yet. I love kydex, but I really like a drop-leg style sheath, that is why I did the molle backs on them. It was a little pricey though, 40-45/each for the molle back is not cheap, it was more than the kydex, but to me they are much more functional.

I hunt, and like to have a chopper strapped to the side of my pack if I need to clear branches when I am climbing trees. The molle back for me is essential.
 
nice collection. I got my first SR a few weeks ago. My second Buseekin and by far my favorite.
 
HRLM? Could someone please tell me what the LM stands for? I believe the HR stands for Howling Rat?
