Just kind of curious what you guys have to say.

I've never seen a Strider in person, and don't really know where I would locally.
I'm considering ordering one because I like the look and I've always been kind of curious about them.

This is my quandry.
I have some knifes in the same vein

ZT0301
ZT0551
ZT0561
CRK Umnumzaan
CRK Small Sebenza.

Already having these 5 Ti frame locks...is there a reason to order a Strider other than "to have one", or is it close enough to the others than I'm probably not going to be that impressed.

Any reasoning and discussion is great! thanks folks

No, you're not missing out on anything.

If you like to hold the knife using the finger choil on the blade then a SNG is for you. Otherwise it is a small edc in big edc packaging.

Buy it if you like the looks. Every mall knife enthusiast that can afford it should have a Strider. I have 1.

I won't lie....I use most of my knives, but I do have a little mall knife enthusiast in me....hence why I own several Microtech OTFs that I can't even legally carry.

Thats the kind of opinion I'm looking for though. Thanks =D

The Sng is a completely different knife from the others you mentioned.
I like mine very much.

I have a Strider PT and am considering the SnG....pretty much just a bigger version of the PT.

I really like the SNG but I much prefer the Umnum.

I think that you should get one from the FS section and try it out, if you don't like it then just pass it on for what you paid for it..

What specifically is so much different about it?
I mean obviously they are different designs, but what I'm meaning is how much different can heavy bladed Ti frame locks with G10 scales be?
Do you own any of the others I listed? If so how would you compare them as far as lockup, comfort etc?

I'm not disagreeing with you, just trying to get more info.

So you feel they are pretty comparable knives? The Umnum is probably my overall favorite of the ones I own. (though the small seb gets the most carry due to an office job)

That was actually one of my big concerns, because the 0561 is an amazing knife, especially at its price point.

Keep them coming =D
