After daily carry for 3 years at work (plumbing service) I lost my beloved Lone Wolf Blackfoot. Although I collect (and carry in my off time) traditional slip joint knives, for work I like my Blackfoot.
It seems this knife has been discontinued and I want something similar to replace it. It has S30V steel which I loved, sharpened easy and was tough as nails for doing non/knife duties, like lifting up meter covers. The blade was rather thick to my eye (compared to my slippies) but that's one thing I liked about it.
What would be considered comparable in a similar price range? Although I could talk all day about traditional folders I know nothing about these types of knives and which brands are good. It seems Lone Wolf has very fee offerings these days.
Thanks,
Russell
