I spent no money on this little set up. Works well but I need to change the bulb to a day light bulb. The bulb I have has a slight blue like tint to it. O well, let me know what you think.

Do you know all the knives in the pic? (not to tricky)

I've gotta make myself a light box, too.

A temporary fix for your light bulb problem would be to change the white balance setting on your camera if it has a setting that works with that light, or better yet a custom white balance setting.
 
Yeah, I might play with the light, in photoshop. I might pimp my light box, by putting white paper on the side walls, and next photoshoot. I might change the blanket, to a dark tan baby blanket. Just to give the blades some pop. Has anybody figured out my mods to the two spydies yet?

I like pretty much all of those, except the Delica... (it's just not my thing).


Might you happen to have a full-size Manix, an Endura, and a Leek you can put together with the Mini-Skirmish?

(I assume that's a Mini-Skirm, and a Delica)
 
Modifications to the Spydies, eh? I see the wave on the Yojimbo, did you add a choil (sp?) to the Spin?
 
The Spin is just the way it came. Anyways the wave on the yo is a mod, and there are still three more left to spot in the pic with them together.

Thanks, the SE small knife is a Caly 3. I can't make that pic for you, but Maybe somebody else can?

I'm surprised I got the Spin wrong... I love the looks of the knife and I've looked at it many a time in anticipation of the acid etched version... I'll keep looking for those mods :)

Also, i recognized the Caly 3 :) Pretty nice looking knife, just don't like how the blade is higher than the handle when opened (also didn't know they had any serrated ones).

EDIT: I want to say you did something with the clip on the Delica...
 
Wave on the Yojo, clips have been stripped on the Manix and Delica, the tip has been reground on the Delica, and I don't recall the D3 having that jimping on the back ;) It also looks like a little work has been done on the blade kick of the Manix.
 
You might try the same setup, but put a white piece of paper in there and set the whitebalance to the paper. That will fix the colors. I love the way you layed out the knives!

Nice job.
 
Does your camera have white balance settings? If so, put it on the incandescent setting and it should get rid of the bluish tinge. Actually I just read that someone else suggested that too. My bad.


Or if you have Photoshop you can do it in there as well.
