My BK-9 finally arrived!! Thank you Ethan (and Amazon)! I love this thing!! It came shaving sharp and it is much nimbler in hand than I expected from pictures. I also expected it to be a little larger for some reason, which makes no sense because I know how long 9 inches is haha. I can feel how awesome of a chopper it's going to be, looking forward to testing it out in the next couple days if I have time.
On a side note, what's the big deal about the sheath? It feels like it's going to work JUST fine and it even has a front pocket. If I have extra money for it one day I might buy a leather sheath but IMO it's not a prudent issue.

But back to the point (no pun intended), I was fondling my new 9 after I took it out of the box and I guess I totally underestimated how sharp the tip is!! All I did was accidentally graze it past my arm and it opened up a little cut. It's not a big deal, just a scratch, but it was deep enough to be dripping blood down my arm before I realized it. The King demands respect right from unboxing, I guess!!

Let your girl friend play naughty nurse first then after she's done stripping for you, you go strip the king. I mean the one that came in a box stamped Ka-Bar, not the one that your girl friend should have stripped by the time you get around to stripping the 9.

Edit: I'm sorry if that sounded kind of perverted on my part, I stop thinking about what I say until after I say it even more around 3:30 am, if you decide my comment is inappropriate then I will change it.

Lol doesn't bother me, say what you will (even if it was a bit confusing, mostly what I took away from it was that you really like stripping!!).

That's funny we actually have those for my daughter in our medicine cabinet. And no I'll be okay, my mommy kissed it better and made me hot cocoa :rolleyes:

Yeah don't worry, your BK9 was just playing. If she really wanted to hurt you she'd have ripped off your arm.

I have yet to strip any of my Beckers.... I'd just get it out and let her beat on stuff....

He says your lucky because he hasn't had the same luck with his 9s, inspite of the fact that he says he's never been bitten by his knives, in reality he is missing one arm, 4 fingers from the remaining arm, both his legs, anything that stuck out more than a 1/2" after the holidays (yes that includes his favorite appendage, and the aforementioned appendage's two closest friends), an ear, and he has several bald spots with no skin on them (not just missing from his head).

*plane flies over greybush's head* I was trying to make a joke of Bladites lack of becker bites and his comment about Rogues cut. I was saying that Bladite said Rogue was lucky because he only got nipped/tasted where as Bladite himself had lost several limbs..... OH JUST FORGET I SAID ANYTHING!
 
They call it "The King" for a reason. You must respect it or pay the price for not doing so.
