Just might bag all brands but Buck

So except for a few ESEE knives I have (they are a breed all to themselves really, totally survival oriented, Buck really doesn't make anything like them, besides they come only in 1095 which is almost indestructible) I am coming t the conclusion I just might never by anything else again besides Buck. Seems like any time I look at other brands, read posts about other knives, they all point to the same fact; Buck simply makes a better knife for half to 3/4's the price and they still cut better in the end. It's kind of like getting a Ferrari for the price of a Chevy/Ford. (OK, not trying to start a car brand war here, you know what I mean!) Anyone else feel the same way? Never thought I'd get myopic about any one brand but it seams to make sense.

After alot of reading and comparing I also came to the same conclusion. I have a feeling if I try one of their Paklite skinners I might like it better than my Izula.

When I was getting into knives I would see them in wally world and in my mind I thought that the Buck name was sold out like Schwinn. I couldnt have been more mistaken, thank goodness Buck still walks the walk:thumbup:

That Paklite skinner that Wally sells is an fine knife. One thing's for sure,it's worth the price and more.

They make great stuff for the money!

I sometimes branch out to other makers. However, Buck gets 90% or so of my business these days.

Other brands:confused:, you mean theres something beside Buck:D

 :D Surely he must mean vehicles :D

I have to agree, I own a fair number of Kershaws which I like just fine, but Buck just have a better selection of good looking, functional knives. Not to mention how nice it is to get away from the black g10 handles :D

Oh, and you just can't beat the price!!

I bought one of the paclites with the Black coating, I loved it so much I bought 4 more for everybody in the family to go kicking with. These things are Razor sharp and so lite you don't even no they are there. They come with a nice sheath and are an all around great pack knife....

I have other brand knives and I'm looking at all the new ones out for 2011.Some knives make you wonder if it's worth the price, that don't happen when I'm buying a Buck.
