I was in the kitchen making my power smoothie with

1 cup 1% milk
3 tbsps plain yogurt
1 frozen banana
6 frozen strawberries
1 cup frozen blueberries
1 cup cooked unsweetened oatmeal
2 tbsps peanut butter
1 tbsp flax seed
1 tbsp whey protein
6 ice cubes
1 large arachnid of choice

.....wait....what.

This little sucker comes out of nowhere and asks me if I have any grey poupon. How rude. Instead of killing him I made him model for his freedom to the back yard.

By the way, can anyone identify this species?

How cool is that Jay. Good of you to snap some pics too.
You are missing 2 scoops of Monster Milk Banana Creme flavor and 2 small scoops of SuperFoods to round out for full power.

Dont kill spiders! Agh I cant tell you how many big badass men have gone all Cheerleader-in-a-Beartrap when they see a spider. They kill and eat the pests. Snakes too...I mean Ive seen relatives flip out over a King snake...which kills and eats poison snakes and vermin.

Glad you let him go Jay2

Nice spider... Appreciates a good knife too....kidered spirit in it's own way...lol....I wouldn't kill it. :):D

as long as they do it outside and not in my kitchen...

That's a handsome fellow. I wouldn't want it in the kitchen, but I'd love him in the garden or under an eve somewhere catching flies and mosquitoes.

Just tonight I showed my boy how to catch a daddy long legs spider with a dust pan and take him outside.

The little dude obviously has good taste in cutters. He was polishing up the little spyder emblem on the blade for you. :p

Good on ya for not killing it. Around here, the only thing I kill - no mercy, no negotiation, no quarter given - is black widows. One of them nearly killed a neighbors kid. All the others, we leave alone; I 'liberate' them to the yard, usually. They eat an enormous amount of insect critters around here, so I leave 'em alone.

Great pic and cool knife.

thx - cpr
