Just noticed how well the FRN on my native has held up

Took some pictures of my spyderco native for an ad. After I cropped the photo and the software auto zoomed in, noticed what good condition the FRN is in. Pretty good for an old user. Still don't really care for the feel of FRN but hey definitely worth the price.

It is some pretty tough stuff. Mine shrugged off a 275 foot fall onto gravel and looks almost as good as yours...my clip and clip screws are a lot more scratched up though.

I bought one of the Native LWs recently and I've been carrying it ever since. Since I had been carrying a Bradley or PM2 with a Dragonfly G10, I had almost forgotten how nice and light FRN handled knives really are. And they do hold up well--I carried an Endura daily for many years and, if anything, the wear on the handle just made it more contoured to my hand.
