Last night I was watching a stupid movie on Showtime (Raindeer Games)
In one scene ben Aflick steals a knife from a pick up truck, it's an out the front auto
In a later scene it shows a close up and you can clearly see a Microtech logo on the blade.
pretty expensive knife to leave laying around in a fishing tackle box.

I tought about that scene too.. i always wondered why someone would leave such an expensive knife in a toolchest, but even stranger is that it doesn't have a scratch while it's loose in a tools-filled toolbox.
Later in the movie, he still has the knife, but doesn't use it as weapon. And somehow the badguys tie his hands with the knife inbetween without noticing the knife???

What was the knife winoma Ryder snapped? i couldn't figure out which one that was. it definetely wasn't an ABS journeyman knife, because t snapped quit easy I tought.

Has anyone seen the movie "Hudson Hawk" with Bruce Willis? It
is an older movie, and not very good IMO, but in the beginning
the bad guy has this HUGE automatic knife that appears out of nowhere
and closes just as fast as it opens. I am almost positive this
is a computer generated image, but I may be wrong. Anyone seen this?
Anyone have any idea what this is?

Would some of you nice knife-folk out in Hellywood take some of these directors aside and lovingly beat some sense into their pea brains?!

Then, ever so nicely, explain the difference between the various uses of the various patterns of knives they seem to be so fond of mis-representing.
