Not going to strip it, not going to reprofile, convex or do anything to the edge. I like the toothy factory edge. The only thing I'm going to do to it is add micartas (and of course some webbing for a lanyard) and start taking it everywhere. It actually is lighter and more agile in the hand than I imagined. This is a very well designed and executed big knife. Amazing. The nine and an 11 truly would cover anything you would ever need in camp or in the woods. The sheath blows, but that's fixable. For the money it's unbeatable.

Congrats. The 9 is quickly turning into one of my favorite knives. I've said it before, just got a good feel for the size. Took mine for a spin earlier with a new toy, will post some pics.
 
Congratulations! The BK-9 was my first becker, its a great one! I have not done anything but used mine, so the finish is wearing off naturally,
