Hey to all, i've been saving up for a high-end folder (to me) 3 ta 400 dollars.I curenty carry a kershaw blur. I like the looks of a tanto w/serrated blade. I kept getting drawn back to the Emerson site. Since this will be a daily carry and i cant have a large knife at work i choose the mini cqc 7. This will be my first Emerson knife and am excited about getting it. do you all think the qulity of the Emerson is worth the $$. the blur is a cool knife. Also it was orderd thru Emerson sight. anyone know how long i can expect to wait to get it. I know i can call and ask,but i just orderd it late sat night. any info,TKS!

Glock, this may be your first Emerson. It will not be your last. I have an original recipe CQC-7. I'd love to have a Mini. IMO that Blur will be permanently replaced with your Mini 7. They are that good. High quality materials and innovative design. I've never ordered from the site, can't help you there. I think you will love the Mini. Congrats on your first Emerson. :D

The mini 7 is a good start

Who knows where your going to finish though :p

I believe that Haze has enough knives to equip a small army, so if he gives Emerson the nod, you can take that to the bank.

As for myself, I like my Spydercos, Kershaws, Bucks, Benchmades and yes, Cold Steels too. However, none of them are built like an Emerson. The ergonomics, build quality, choice of materials and the fact that they are chosen by elite combat forces across the globe, speak well of the brand.

If it is a high quality, hard use knife you are after, it is spelled 'Emerson'.

Thanks guy's thats what i was hoping to hear. It my not be my last i hope, but it will be my daily carry. I work in a pharmacy, and one day while cutting something, they (two female co-workers) sorta freaked that i had a knife. Then one of the pharmacist (a female) asked do you have a weapon,i said no i have a pocket knife and its a tool.

That's right, you told them. It's a tool!
A bottle of pills could be a weapon if used right. :D

Congrats on your incoming Mini 7, you're going to enjoy it.
