Hello all. This is going to be my first BRK&T. Mini North Star, antique ivory micarta with red liners. I've been carrying a Benchmade Snody Activator Plus at work. (Love it !) I was looking for something just a lil'bit smaller for constant EDC while not at work. I did alot of homework on this, and think the MNS is gonna be just right for me. :D Now I just have to wait for the big brown truck. Thoughts, remarks, opinions on yours?? Pix? ;) Thanks, M

I have about 5 or 6 of this model. I carry one regularly when I bike and the rest are just purty. One of my favorite barkies. I don't notice any difference in performance between it (stainless) and my carbon Bark Rivers. I think the biggest complaint I have heard about most BRKT's is grip size. I guess I am one of those people though who think that lots of knives grips are way too big so bark rivers fit me great. Light, handy, wicked sharp. BRKT turned me into a convex edge guy. If you don't have a strop, make one or buy one (don't spend too much they are easy to make) and invest in some black (emery) compound and some green (polishing) compound. You will enjoy this purchase!

Welcome to the Bark Side.

I have the regular Northstar for the woods and a Mini Canadian that I edc frequently. They are excellent knives and a pleasure to use.

Congratulations Sir Woodley! You just bought my next knife purchase right our from under my nose! No...wait.....you got the antique ivory. Sorry. I'm thinking black carbon fiber or maple...maybe amboynia....maybe natural elder burl!

Of all my Barkies (only 6 thus far), I like my Northstar the best. So...it's only natural that the mini-Northstar is the next one!

Ha! I love mine (silver carbon fiber) mmmmm

good choice!

Great knife for EDC! Bark River knives are top notch, and that one was designed just for your purpose!
