Just ordered a 13 whip

I have been drooling over these GEC #13 Whips with the muslin micarta and finally ordered one. I tend to carry most of my knives and not have too many safe queens and am wondering if anyone else purchased one of these to carry? I would love to see some pics of a whip user! That's it just wanted to share my excitement. I have been becoming more and more interested in traditionals lately I find most of them to be real works of art.
 
I think you choose well! Mine is on its way home now. They haven't been out long so you probably won't get many user pics- you will have to just make it your own blind:)
 
I carry and use my #13 Clerk Office Knife really regularly. Very useful, and a great looking pattern

I recently got one from another member here and really like the design. I have looked at another congress style knife before; one of our old forum knives from a pass around but that's my extent with the congress style. I liked the style and was thinking I would like it more with a single blade. The handle on this one is a little longer than I remembered but it fills my hand well. The blade is longer than I imagined too! It's nice and thin and 1095. The brass liners match well with the handle material IMO. I'm not sure what to think about the handle material. I has an odd texture to me. It feels like there is something on it like a very thin layer of dust or something. LOL. It has a button with it too. I'm not into the buttons but they will be a factor later when collecting these knives. I haven't started carrying it yet because my 38 farmer's jack has been hanging close to me.

Let us know what you think when you get yours.
 
I carry mine regularly, though it's only been a few weeks since I got it, so it doesn't have a lot of usage marks.

I carry it in my coin pocket and it picks up a lot of a the blue from my jeans. TIP: wash it with an electric toothbrush and dishwashing soap.
