Just ordered off the bay the above 2 knives. I'll post a review of them when I get them. If the Voyager is anything like the Hold Out series it will be a winner, keepem sharp

Looking forward to hearing about it. If not for having my hours cut last week that Voyager would be in my mailbox next week. I really like the FFG blades & the new lines.

So are the Natchez bowies full tang? I've read posts here on bf that quote CS customer service as saying they are partial tang.
However i have an xray pic on my hard-drive that shows it as being full tang.
I would tend to believe the pic but i also don't want to fork out the money only to find out it is only a partial tang.
Anybody know for certain?

Got them both last week. Voyager I have warmed up to. Rock solid lock up and now it is as sharp as one would ever want a knife. The Natchez ain't bad and having never owned one it is HUGE baby HUGE. I had a couple of nit picks on it before number 1 being is the keeper strap is to short so it won't go around the handle. But other than that really for the price it is probably the best bowie I've ever owned bar none and that includes a couple of very decent customs. The thing is just beyond sharp and while cutting some hair off my arm I took some skin too. The top clip isn't sharpened either and for some reason I thought it was. But it is very sharpenable with a fine edge. This bowie is just a zombie killer. No doubt about it.

The Voyager has pretty much equal sized thumb studs which I like, tri-ad lock which I consider about the best locking mechanism on a folding knife and it is a tumbled finish. AUS8a, which first touted by CS was going to be VG-1 if I recall. No matter really. The shape is totally different with the handle which I like alot more and I like the lock up. It is a rock. Clip sucks as it is way to tight but easily remedied by a flat screw driver slid under neath it. So that's it. The Natchez, I don't know it just might be to much knife really and I thought I would never say that. Perfect grind lines, don't know about the tang but I don't for see how one would make it loose. ANyways that's it, keepem sharp

I've been waiting for the new Voyager for a good while now. Glad to see that they have been emancipated.

I like the looks of the new Voyager they may have downgraded blade steel(not that there is anything wrong with AUS-8) but I feel the Triad-Lock will more than make up for it.

I picked up a large Voyager Clip-Point a few weeks ago. It didn't come razor-scary sharp out of the box like all of my previous Cold Knives did.

I fixed that easily enough. The handle ergonomics are great. The handle just locks into my hand in a saber grip.

It haven't gotten around to bending the pocket clip to make it easier to carry yet. My biggest problem has been surface
rust on the blade. But this has been a problem for me with Cold Steel's Aus-8 on other models too.

I'll be glad when they release the other Voyager versions. I am sure that I will get a Tanto-Point later.
