So I went ahead and ordered a 24 with the factory scale kit. I was torn between a 5 and the 24, but I think this will fit in the family a little better.
And any way, I know the 5 will be next. Can't get enough of these Beckers :D

I think you'll love the 24. I bought mine after replacing my 14 a couple times. The 24 is a great daily carry blade. I just ordered a 5 and 15 from Coyle Outdoors recently, waiting for them now.

The 24 was my first BK.

The 15 has replaced it as my fav but it still fills the 'small' role in my must have 3 blades small, medium, large.

Great knife. Want a preview?

I got the 24 and love it. I started with the Orange and black scales as well. I actually could not decide which color I liked, so I put black on one side and orange on the other. I have since changed them out to some custom wood grips. It now has a very classy look. Great blade. Enjoy!

I too love my 24. Love the feel of D2. As TravisH said it fits perfectly in the three blade system. Bought a kydex sheath and wear it around my neck.

Pic of my three knife system. Top to bottom The King, TOPS BOB and 24.

Yea, I am excited to start using it. My first D2, most all my knives are carbon, even my nonBeckers (I know, I know, there isn't anything else;))
I am thinking the orange scales because I am going to order some TKC G10 scales for my 16 in burnt orange and I think that will look good together.

I've done the same Marty, the 24 is a very classy looking blade and highly functional with the Tommy timber handles. A nice small leather sheath is going to be the icing on the cake for me. And to the OP congrats on a superb choice of blade.
