Ultimate Hunter. So give me all in good and bad please. Actually ordered 2,,they will be here Friday,,,
 
Notn bad to say about ultimate hunter. Great knife overall, super comfy grip, and very utilitarian blade. Oh mine required a little bit of breakin to disengage the lock bar easily, mostly just because there was too much friction between the lock face and the blade tang. I think you will enjoy it.

I do agree that it should come with a choil like this review made. Hopefully CS will come up with a special edition green/brown version of this.

Handle termination leaves you expecting one. Other than that -- sexy knife.
 
I picked up a ultimate hunter the other day too and have been edcing it along with one my larger folders(otanoshi noh ken today). Imo, the UH just works ..just a good blade that does what's made to do with no frills or extras.
 
Edge retention should be pretty amazing. Ankerson did some testing and his UH had the XHP hardened to 63.5 Hrc. Apparently they're running this particular model very hard, which may have just pushed me over the edge into getting one.
 
It's been a mainstay since getting it, haven't had to sharpen it and it is still very very sharp! And the clip mod makes the knife just that much better, although I probably could have lived with it as it was, but, since I didn't need to...I didn't ;)

The clip mod is critical, Cold Steel should look into that SOON, it's just not working as they are currently made, need to have a little more room available to get it clipped over thick pocket edges.

All in all, it's as said above, a no nonsense working knife!
