just ordered a titan Lightweight Defender. bought this so my Chris Reeve can take a break every once in a while. Hard to beat Boker Solingen. any fans of this knife?, i have never handled it but i know what i am getting. and thanks to Knifecenter as always great service and speedy shipping.

I have wanted one for most of the last year. My wife found a Titan Worker sale priced less than the TDL via mail order before Christmas, so Santa brought me that one. I am not fond of 440C - wanted the TDL because of it's better steel. I still consider the TDL a next buy, with only one worry - the white cast my Worker's brown G10 has - that green won't look too good! Let us know what you think of your TDL when it arrives.

Stainz

PS Continued application of a drop of oil wiped over the G10 returns it's lustre - for a while.

Sorry to change the subject slightly, but I can't PM you due to my limited privileges. I was wondering if your Randy Doucette Streetside arrived yet. I'm a big Randy Doucette fan and he is just finishing up my Jekel at the moment. I wonder if he will send everything from this batch out at the same time. Regardless, I can't wait to get my Jekel!! I didn't have mine dressed up like yours will be. Not that I don't like them dressed up, but I do really enjoy a "basic" custom. I love seeing the satin grind lines (He does excellent grinding, don't you think?) on standard steel. I had him go with some beautiful Curly Maple and carbon fiber for the handles and bolsters. The liners should be jeweled and anodized as well. I think it's going to look quite excellent with my Outsider. Anyway, if you get your Streetside please post photos because I'm absolutely dying to see it after I saw your post about the materials. He is really good with finishing work as you know, I MUST see your knife, haha!! :)

The next knife I get from him will, without a doubt, be the Streetside. I absolutely love that knife and the Jekel, but the Jekel was the one I wanted to go with first! :)
