Just curious. I’ve been trying to source a Patriot in A2, without any luck, but came across the Frontier First in 3v on DLT’s site and decided to go for it. Just wondering what folks think of LT’s 3V more than anything.

I have one but haven't used it for anything just yet other than admire it. I probably use a couple of knives but have quite a few more than that. It just gets looked at mainly, but I will say it's made nicely if that helps. Congrats on the score though they do seem to be kind of hard to find being a limited made knife. I think if you get the one with the python handles like I have your going to like the figure/pattern in the python micarta scales.

I had a Frontier First in O1 and a Patriot in 3V. I had no issues with the steels or heat treats, but both were too thick (1/8" at the spine) for blades that narrow. A Patriot in 3/32" 3V would be a real winner.

It's a very small knife, with a nice crisp spine, loose fitting leather sheath.

Did I mention that it's small? Even with a lanyard its here to hold.

Mine came very sharp, I use it exclusively to carve wood to make fire.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the replies. I love the small fixed blades to go with whatever folder I’m carrying. I’ve been carrying a Candiru for about 2 years now everyday and really enjoy it, so I’m hoping I will like this one just as much.
