Getting my first spyderco. Delica 4 FFG in orange. Just ordered today. My first spyder and my first knife in one of the better steels. I'm psyched up.

My fiance'e got me a FFG Endura in orange for Christmas (I can't have it til' then because she is getting it engraved), I have been carrying my Delica 4 for years consistanly, great design.
 
If you don't like the Halloween look (black and orange), consider replacing or stripping the clip for the stainless look. I don't have an orange Delica, but that what I would do. Most folks seem to dig the orange and black combo though.

Im getting one for christmas, I cannot wait!!!! Like you, its my first spyderco and my first quality knife in general!! It is going to be the beginning of my addiction!!
 
The Delica 4 FFG is an amazing knife. Gets super sharp and the ergonomics are bar none. Enjoy it my friend
 
Hopefully getting a green for Christmas or maybe birthday. I debated on getting orange, but I've had my eye on green since the colors came out.
 
Just got mine in the mail a few days ago=) Great edc IMO and comes razor sharp.

Ya my delica is in the box it was delivered in, in my basement. And I cant touch it til sunday, I'm dying here!
 
I'm buying myself the Orange FFG Delica for christmas along with a Black handled satin blade Paramilitary 2. These will be my very first Spyderco's also. I've never even held or seen a Spyderco in person but it's one brand I've always wanted to see what the hype is about. :)
 
SHHH!! Dont tell anyone, but I figured out which present my delica was from underneath the tree. Everyone was asleep and I opened it up, cut a bunch of paper with it and I just re wrapped and back under the tree it goes!!!

LMAO....this is my first "nice knife" other than cheap gerbers ect. So needless to say Im pretty excited! The delica 4 is alot nicer than I thought itd be, Im pumped to actually open it and get to actually keep it!

That is awesome! Such dedication to not only find the knife but to unwrap it, play with it and rewrap it with no one the wiser. Very nice. :thumbup::thumbup:

You all wont be disappointed with the Delica4 FFG. Mine is a little over a year old and still is one of my favorite knives. I actually took a break from carrying my new para2 and carried the delica. Such a great knife, may have to carry it tomorrow too. :D

I do plan on eventually getting a second one along with a second Para2; only the delica4 and para2 have caught my attention to want to buy two.

Congrats on getting the FFG Delica 4. I definitely prefer the FFG versions to the saber grind models. A while back I had a ZDP-189 Delica, Endura, & Stretch (Both FRN & CF). The Stretch was the only FFG of the 3 & I definitely preferred it to the others.
