hey man,its cool.everyone has a preference, ive got a bk-11 and a izula but i just to get the knife with the best features of both wrapped up into one handy little knife.guess im gonna have to get me some of those esee handles to mod when it gets here...
I read somewhere that the ESEE handles won't fit exactly on the BK-14. It had something to do with the machining or something. It might have been in the ESEE forum.
they really are great all around knives,i carry my bk11 everywhere.i even got the kabar micarta handles and added three coats of clear polyurethane to stain them a dark color and seal the micarta.it actually looks like a really nice stained rosewood now.very nice.

Hey Shotty,
Good seeing you at the show.
You are correct. The Rowen Izula handles will not fit on the BK14 handle. The esteemed Mr. Becker wanted a bit more width on the handle struts and the opening is smaller than the Izula. When we were developing the BK14, the Izula Micarta handles were not out yet.
If one takes the Rowen Micarta handles and shaves down the edges with a file or exacto knife, they will fit. If there is a lot of teeth knashing and chest beating, we can change.
