Just ordered BM 710 plain edge

I'd like to hear you impressions on this knife. I usually stick to Sypderco knives but I do have a few BM. I like knives in the 710 blade length.

Which Benchmade 710 did you order in plain blade? BM 710 or BM 710 BT or BM 710 HS

Good luck with the 710. It's one of BM's classics. Hopefully you will get one of the new ones with the new bronze bushings. Let us know your impressions when you get it.

The 710 is a great knife, probably having the best shaped utility blade I've yet tried. It cuts very well too. My only gripes are the ugly scales and nasty black coating on the HS model. Overall though, the knife a real bargain for it's shear utility value.

GOOD!!!!! I just bought a 710HS about a month ago and I love it. The black coating does scratch but just think of them as user marks.

I got the plain edge and yes I love the blade style, I just wish it had the AFCK handle though! I really like the finger cut out, it gives you a great grip.

Great knife! The first real knife I bought and I just got lucky after cruising this forum and listening to advice. My only regret is that I got the combo edge. I love the Axis lock and later when I bought an AFCK I screwed up by not knowing they made it with the Axis. You will love this knife, don't worry about the coating.

This is my 2nd Benchmade folder, my 1st was the AFCK AXIS which I am very impressed with. I wish I can put the 710 blade on the AFCK handle, that would be awesome!
