and it will be my first multi-tool. I'm pretty excited to get it and am pretty certain I made a good purchase based on my needs. :)

Anyone got one? Your thoughts? Pictures?

I love mine!

I've got one. It's wonderful

Thinner than a 2 layer SAK, but lots more tools on it. The pliers are not the full thickness of the tool, which was a surprise to me, but not necessarily bad.

It's quite a lot heavier than a SAK of the same thickness.

The externally-accessible scissors and knife blade are great features.

The knife blade is factory ground at a nice thin angle, just waiting for you to add the 40 degree cutting edge.

The scissor springs have a bevel ground on them, so they don't slip apart. (unlike on the Squirt)

It is kind of hard to get the flat head screwdrivers out. I hope you have strong nails, and with a bit of length to them as well.

It IS appropriately sized for pocket carry, unlike the larger pliers-based MTs.

I have a Juice S2 that I got about three weeks ago. I got the grey one. Generally speaking there isn't anything about it that I don't like but I have to agree with Smaug about the flat heads being hard to get out. They aren't extremely difficult to open. Just a very minor inconvenience.

The arrangement of the flat heads kinda messes with my mind if I haven't opened them for a while. Large and medium are on the ends with the small in the middle. Probably not a problem for most folks but I tend to forget this arrangement from time to time. Again only a minor inconvenience.

My comments above might imply that I don't like the Juice S2 but I really do like it. I use the scissors more than anything else and so far they have been fantastic. The screwdrivers don't lock open but they are held open rather securely by the little backsprings. There's a nice little click when they snap into place. The fully extended handles provide a good, comfortable grip when using the screwdrivers. The "pistol grip" position is quite comfortable too.

Good choice. I think you're gonna like it.

Good choice. It has the tools I need most often in a plier based multitool and it's very pocketable, but not too compact, so the pliers are functional enough for most light duty tasks.

The keyring works well too.

Finally got mine today. It's definitely an awesome tool but there are some quirks to it that somewhat bug me. First, you have to close the pliers first before collapsing the tool, otherwise on one side the plier binds against the flathead bits. And the other is the scales are a tad loose. I can move the scale if I put pressure on it, like the hole is too big around the pin, and the knife blade also has quite a bit of play, but it's still very serviceable. Is this normal for a multi-tool? I'm used to rock solid high end pocket knives, so a cheaper sized down multi-tool is a bit alien to me.

So far though, I really like it :) I've already used it quite a bit today taking apart a go kart engine.

I didn't notice any blade or scale play on mine, but the highest-end tactical knife I've got is an old Spyderco Clipit Delica. ;)

I too haven't noticed blade or scale play on mine, but I have read reports from users who had a Juice that was hard to open and tools that were hard to reach or a Juice that had play in the tools and pliers. So it seems fit and finish is not the same quality on all Juice's.

No play or loose scales here either. Also have a first gen leatherman wave but this one gets carried most.

I've got a variety of MT's for different carry situations. I like the Juice for EDC along with a good folding knife because it is relatively small and easy to carry in the bottom of my pocket.

The Skeletool and Charge make pretty good EDC's when I don't want to carry a separate folder.

Called Leatherman about the binding and slight scale looseness and they said something was defective with the tool. They offered to fix it for me, but I opted to send it back to Amazon for another. They're actually sending me a new one first for me to inspect and allowing me 30 days to send the defective one back, and they're even shipping it to me overnight for free. Excellent customer service from both companies IMO. Hopefully the 2nd one is a better specimen.
