Just Ordered My First Busse

I've been drooling over Busse knives for a while now, and frequently checking the online store for new additions. I sold nearly half of my folder collection to fund a Busse.

Tonight I saw that they had the Hellrazor on there, and I jumped on it. I ordered one with black micarta and olive drab coating.

I'm extremely excited about it. It was marked "in stock", so I'm assuming it will ship like a normal online knife order, correct?

I just wanted to share my excitement. I'll be sure to post pictures of it in use when I get it.

Congrats to ya bro! The company store ships real fast, so you may have it by Saturday, at the latest Monday or Tuesday. Very cool knife. Welcome to the INFI addiction...she won't be your last!

Welcome to the madness. Scott or his wife at the company store ships very fast so you will not have to wait very log to start abusing the new arrival. You started out with a great model. Congrats. :D

I agree...Great model to start with.

It has a really cool name too...

Welcome to the madness!

:D

The description doesn't specify if it is paper or canvas black Micarta. Anybody know which I'll get?

I picked it up from the post office today. The scales are canvas like I was hoping. I'm breathless. Pictures soon.

That means you've still got more than half of your folder collection left! ;)

I think we'll be seeing a few folders for sale very soon, followed by pics of your next Busse!

:D

It's quite possible. I will be ordering one of those Fusion BM's when they become available. I intend to actual custom order one instead of waiting for them to hit the store like I did this time too. I see a few of my folders going for sure.

Hey J85909266 I think that printer was given your HR a dirty look...kill it! Stab the crap out of it for looking wrong at that beauty! It'll never know what hit it! ;)

Great looking knife bro... what a great way to start off a Busse collection!

I took it out to a little party at my friend's place to break down some things for a fire.

I used it to chop up one of those shipping skid warehouses use, an old kitchen chair, and 15 foot long board.

It handled it all very well. It stayed sharp the whole time, but when all was done it did have a few ittle dings in the blade. My hands aren't used to that sort of work, so I've got some bruising and the skin split a little where the thumb meets the index finger. I had a blast chopping things up, though.

What is the best way to go about sharpenign it and getting out the dings in the blade?

Strop it, strop it! So do you think the courrugations make for less drag in cutting and chopping? I haven't had the opportunity to get mine dirty yet, it is hard to spank a new blade when I have a half dozen users. But that wear patern makes me want to go outside and chop something.

I didn't really notice any difference in the drag, but I would need another similar knife without the corrugations to really know. After using this, I'd really like to get my hands on a Battle Rat with the nice, soft, fat rubber handle. I'll bet that thing is a dream to chop with.

Work gloves help a lot when your hands aren't used to the pounding. The Res-C handles on the Rats are a dream to chop with.

wait WAIT WAIT.
Are those dings or chips ?
I hope not chips, since some dingbat said that V10 ( Fallkniven) chips but INFi wont ?

It's RACE TIME.. hehehehe ;)
