I finally pulled the trigger on a CRK! I played with a small plain Sebenza this weekend and was sold on quality. I ordered a large Micarta Sebenza Insingo. I had a benchmade griptillian with a similar sheepsfoot/wharncliff blade and loved it. It should be here thursday, I'm super pumped! I'll have to post pics when it gets here.

Congrats.

I am somewhat serious that the biggest problem with getting the small 21 is that my other knives are going to be neglected. That is, except my Mnandi. I am impressed.

A couple things that stuck me upon first inspection:

Mine has a very strong detent. I hope it'll loosen up but if its still this tight in a couple weeks, I might have to send it back to be tweaked.

That is the most impressive stop pin I've ever seen. It's a very small detail, but note the two ribs that are on the outsides of where the blade sits.

The swedge is pretty sharp. I would go so far as call it a false edge. I might consider honing a small flat where the edges come together. I'm not going to mess with anything for at least a month or two.

The area where the Micarta splits near the lanyard hole it (shown in the second picture) is the perfect shape for your thumb when pulling it out of your pocket.
