I just orderd my first Randall from A.G Russell it is a model 1 with a 7in blade and black micarta handle. I bought it to replace my Blackjack Classic Hunter as my fighting knife for daily carry. Hopefully It will serve me as well as the Blackjack which I have used for everything from daily carry too killing a wild boar during a very exciting knife hunt.

I recieved one of my first randalls from A.G. russell about a year ago.A #1 with a stag handle.I was not really very happy with the stag when i recieved it.I call and a nice lady went out and hand picked me a knife from there stock.I felt kind of guilty but the service is the best.I have bought many knifes(Randalls and Dozier)since then.great service and super fast shipping.patrick

My first randall was a 1-8 with black micarta handle brass butt cap and still remains one of my favorites. I think you will be very pleased with your choice.
