Just ordered my first Swamp Rat!

Hey guys, just ordered my first Swamp Rat and this is my first post outside of the Becker forum in a long time. I've heard lots of great things about SRK and can't wait to check the hype! I ordered the SRK RMD. I was excited to see they are from Kentucky, my home state! Can't wait to get back there for the holidays! Welp, nice to meet ya'll!
 
Welcome to the Swamp! The RMD is a fine utility & field knife; great ergos, balance, and blade profile. She certainly won't be your last!

I just got my first SR too. Not the one you got but I got the Rodent Solution. Could not be happier with the quality of the knife. Knife is solid and sharp as hell. Very well made knife. I'm sure you'll be happy with your purchase!

I'm already looking at the Solutions. They are pretty sweet looking... now off to find more money to spend...
 
My first was an m6 and it was my favorite. Had to let it go so now I'm looking again. That was my perfect knife, my Elenore

Same variation I just got in the mail today! Now its off to Richard J to get a freakishly sharp V edge put on.
 
Welp, I just got the Solution off the exchange from TAGannon. Couldnt resist, those handles look so yummy and everything I read about these knives just amaze me! So now I have 2 in the mail.
 
I only have 1 swamp rat knife whicih is the RMD and I love it. Great feel and with SR101 steel, is very versatile. Not as beefy as a busse blade but almost as tough and and great edge retention. Couldnt ask for more form a knife. I also have 5 busse blades which for the most part as safe queens at the moment =/

Exactly, buy the Busses to look at. Buy the Rat's to use ;)
